About the practice

Three generations of careful, patient-centered dentistry in Dallas.

Dallas Center for Oral Health and Wellness brings together holistic primary care, board-certified prosthodontics, and a team genuinely practiced at slowing things down — for families, for high-risk patients, and for anyone who has been told their case is too complex elsewhere.

Inside the practice
Patient care at the practice
Our story

A dental home built around the patient, not the procedure.

The practice grew out of a simple conviction: that oral care belongs inside the larger story of a patient's overall health. Dr. Anna Willison brought that philosophy with her thirty years into a Dallas career, gradually re-shaping how the office treats everything from a routine cleaning to complex restorative work.

That meant minimizing exposure to mercury and other toxic substances, integrating ozone therapy and airway-focused assessment, and choosing biocompatible materials wherever possible. It also meant building a team comfortable with patients other offices turn away — those with autism, epilepsy, dementia, Down syndrome, complex medical histories, and the kind of dental anxiety that can put off a needed visit for years.

Dr. Eugene Dahl joined to bring board-certified prosthodontic expertise — including the maxillofacial training he completed at MD Anderson Cancer Center — to patients who need rehabilitation after surgery or radiation, implant-supported dentures, or any prosthesis that has to fit and function for a lifetime. Dr. Julia Willison, Dr. Anna's daughter, joined as an associate dentist, continuing the practice's emphasis on gentle, patient-focused biological care into a second generation.

The common thread, across every chair and every appointment: take the time. Listen first. Explain everything. And treat the mouth like the front door to the rest of the body — because it is.

Anna Willison, DDS, FAGD

Lead Dentist · 30 years in Dallas

Dr. Willison's mission is to provide complete dental care using state-of-the-art treatment techniques in a safe, comfortable, and caring atmosphere. Her outstanding reputation stems from how she listens and takes her time to understand each patient's concerns and needs. She is passionate about educating patients on oral care as a central part of overall health.

Born in Poland, she immigrated as a teen to Texas and became a U.S. citizen in 1989 — just as the Iron Curtain fell. At Texas A&M University she received a Bachelor's in Biomedical Science, then continued at Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M Dental College) for her Doctor of Dental Surgery. While a resident at the Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center, she provided care to medically, physically, and mentally challenged patients.

Over the past several years she has re-evaluated her practice philosophy and integrated holistically minded approaches — improvement of the airway, minimizing exposure to mercury and fluoride, and utilizing ozone in certain treatments. A firm believer in continuing education, she has completed countless hours during the course of her career and is a member of the Academy of Biological and Dental Medicine (IABDM), the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), and Special Care Dental Association. She has donated her services in private practice and participated in multiple mission trips to Guatemala and Mexico.

Outside the office, Dr. Willison is an avid gardener who loves to cook and explore the world. She and her husband Ted have been happily married for 35 years and look forward to time with their adult triplets every chance they get.

Prosthodontist
Eugene Dahl, DDS, MS
MD Anderson Trained Fellow, ACP 40+ Years

Eugene Dahl, DDS, MS

Board-Certified Prosthodontist · 40+ years

Dr. Dahl is a board-certified prosthodontist in practice for more than 40 years. He attended Kent State University for his undergraduate degree, then Ohio State University for his dental degree. He went on to the maxillofacial prosthodontics residency program at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where his training included extensive work in cancer treatment and rehabilitation of the oral structures following surgery or radiation.

That work — prostheses attached to dental implants, obturators, customized dentures that fit over remaining teeth — is what brings many patients to the practice. The goal in every case is the same: regain chewing function and re-create an attractive, comfortable smile, no matter how complex the starting point.

Dr. Dahl is a founding member of the MD Anderson Associates, a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics, and a member of the Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics and the American Dental Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Dahl enjoys working on his cattle ranch, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

What we believe

Four convictions that shape every appointment.

The mouth is part of the body.

Holistic and biological dentistry means treating oral health as part of whole-body wellness — biocompatible materials, gentle techniques, mercury minimization, and ozone where it helps. Care that respects how everything is connected.

Time, not speed.

We take the time to truly understand each patient's oral health needs. That means longer first visits, real conversation, and treatment plans built around the person in the chair — not the next slot on the schedule.

Every patient is welcome.

We are proud to work with patients other offices turn away — autism, epilepsy, dementia, Down syndrome, complex medical histories, and the kind of anxiety that has kept a needed visit on the calendar for years.

Care should be accessible.

Quality dentistry is too important to ration. Our office offers flexible payment options so the right plan for your smile isn't held back by the wrong invoice.

Treatment room with dental technology
In the operatory

Modern technology, used carefully.

We provide patients with comfortable, efficient treatment through a state-of-the-art facility. Every exam looks at the whole picture — gums, jaw, soft tissue — supported by digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and the technology that helps us show you exactly what we're seeing and why it matters.

  • Digital X-rays and intraoral cameras
Highly detailed images of the oral cavity so we can educate as we examine.
  • Isolite and laser-supported procedures
More comfortable, more precise treatment — especially for restorative and gum work.
  • Multiple sedation options
General anesthesia, IV sedation, nitrous oxide, and oral conscious sedation — selected together with you.

Come see if we're the right fit for your family.

Whether you're looking for a new dental home, a second opinion on a complex case, or care for a loved one with special needs — we'd love to meet you.
